Colourpop Cosmetics review and haul

Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadows and "Bound"Lippie

First off, I want to say that Colourpop is an amazing idea. I think it's such a fabulous thing that this company chose to make all of their product $5 because it's affordable and gives me more of an excuse to buy them! To start this off, I definitely would recommend these to anyone and they are worth it. I started off my collection with five of the most talked about shadows and I am definitely impressed. The color is unlike anything i've ever seen before. I would compare them to the Stila Foil Finish Eyeshadows...but better. Yes, I think these are better! The reason for this is because they are just SO much easier to use and require no mess at all. I'm honestly not trying to sit there and make a science experiment with a mixing medium just to have the same color payoff as I do with these Colourpop eyeshadows. Not to mention they are also way cheaper. The best way to apply these with is your finger, as I feel I get the best color pay off and it packs great, which should i mention is A LOT. I also like how this company is made in america in based in California. The only downside i guess would be the shipping, since i live in New York my package took over two weeks to ship! But i was patient and it was well worth the wait. With my order i also decided to try one of their lippies, and i chose to try the lipstick in he color "bound" with the matching lip liner.

These are all of the eyeshadows i purchased in their original packaging which i have to say is so cute!
(from right to left i have "i heart this", "Amaze", "Sequin", "3", and "so quiche")

WITH NO FLASH HERE

The flash in my camera brings out all the glitters and it is truly so pretty!

WITH FLASH HERE

"So Quiche"
This is one of my favorite ones because of the purple and bronze fleks of glitter. I would say this eyeshadow is mostly on the brown and bronze side.

"Sequin"
This shadow is a definite bronze color, with silver glitter.

"3"
This shadow is a chocolate brown with big chunks of silver glitter within it.

"Amaze"
This eyeshadow I would say is an off bronze color that's more muted than sequin and not as orange, it also has chunks of silver glitter.  It reminds me of rose gold.

"I heart this"
Also a favorite of mine because I am obsessed with champagne colored shadows. I feel like this one can be used everyday and has the appropriate amount of sparkle. This eyeshadow has silver and bronze fleks.

Overall, i am very impressed with these shadows from quality and affordability, it's all a 10 in my book. They're also very easy to use for the average person (I mean that as you're not a makeup junkie like me!) These shadows also lasted all day for me by using Urban Decays primer potion as a base.

I also decided to try one lipstick from Colourpop and I ordered "bound" with its matching lip liner. The two are not the same color but compliment each other perfectly. The liner is slightly darker and browner in color while the lipstick is more of a softer pink. This specific lipstick is formulated to have a glossy finish which is the perfect amount of shine. It is more glossy rather than shinny if that makes any sense! It is definitely an everyday color and It's very flattering when combined with its lip liner. This combo can be a Kylie Jenner lippie! I do use this almost everyday because i just can't get enough of it. The lipstick its self is a twist up but the liner must be sharpened (I need to sharpen mine sorry!)

Here I am wearing the lip combo along with the eyeshadow "sequin" on my lids.
